tuba city.

On my last day in Page, my friend Mary took my fellow intern and friend, Jen, and me to a swap meet an hour away in Tuba City. It was a fabulous time, and I had a lot of fun looking at the gorgeous, handmade turquoise jewelry and other handcrafted items.

Here are a few glimpses into our outing at the Tuba City swap meet:

Jen's daughter, Felicity, and Mary's son, Kale, were giggling and playing the whole drive down.

I bought these to make earrings.

Jen and Mary checking out some beads.

He even posed for the camera, such a cutie.

 Cedar wood bracelets.

I love this picture of them.

I had a bite of Jen's mutton stew--it was divine.

famous Navajo frybread...oh, how I will miss it.
